Temporary closure of the Chambly Canal band!

Please note that the bike path is fully open, either from the Park Shops in Chambly, # 7 to the bridge causing the Chambly Canal on Highway 223 in Carignan, 8 km upstream . Then, the bridges between # 9 and # 10 along the shore of the island of St. Therese. The other sections are temporarily closed for security reasons.

Les Amis du canal de Chambly

Founded in 1998, Les Amis du Canal de Chambly has the mandates to facilitate, promote and preserve the National Historic Site of the Chambly canal. To this purpose and in collaboration with community stakeholders, we offer clients historical, recreational and sociocultural activities as well as economic development in the Upper Richelieu Valley regions.
